Our Advisory Board: Bridging Tradition and the Future
Our Advisory Board is made up of four dedicated individuals, each connected to the company in a unique way.
CEO Clemens Schmees serves as Chair and brings his extensive experience as the long-standing leader of the company.
Julia Eich, daughter and shareholder of the Schmees family, represents the perspective of the next generation and succession planning within the board.
They are complemented by external experts and friends of the company:
Markus Ulbig, former Lord Mayor of Pirna and former Saxon Minister of the Interior, now works as a senior manager in consulting for sustainable infrastructure and energy solutions. He contributes an independent, strategic perspective to the board.
Matthias Pampus-Meder, Managing Director of Eisenwerk Brühl GmbH, has deep roots in the foundry industry. He brings extensive industry knowledge and practical experience. Both Markus Ulbig and Matthias Pampus-Meder share a strong connection to the company and the Schmees family while providing an objective external viewpoint.
What makes this Advisory Board special is its combination of family ties, experience, and external insight. It helps us make well-founded decisions, fosters dialogue between shareholders and management, and acts as a moderating link when different interests intersect.
