After the successful casting, there are further important steps until the product is ready to use. These include after treatment of the castings like turbine blasting, Cleaning, various heat treatments and the priming or varnishing.
\nDepending on the customer needs, the raw castings will be reworked or finished mechanically or by hand. In that case, ready-to-use precision castings are leaving our production sites.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Heat treatment<\/h1>\n

The right choice of heat treatment and the method of execution are important factors on the final qualities of the finished casting.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Heat treatment is understood to be all processes during which a part is subjected to time-temperature sequences for the purpose of conferring properties to it, thus making it suitable for its further processing or use, i.e. normalizing, quenching and tempering, stress relief heat treatment, solution annealing and stabilizing.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Mechanical finishing<\/h1>\n

The castings are pre-machined or finished on state-of-the-art CNC machining centers and lathes.<\/p>\n<\/div>

At our locations in Langenfeld and Pirna, experienced specialists focus on the precision machining of cast components. In our well-equipped workshops, we manufacture custom-fit milled and turned parts \u2014 using both state-of-the-art CNC-controlled machining centers and conventional machines, depending on project requirements.<\/p>\n

Based on customer specifications, parts leave our facilities either pre-machined or fully finished \u2014 with maximum flexibility tailored to individual needs.<\/p>\n

We utilize a range of advanced turning, milling, and complete machining centers, as well as cycle-controlled lathes such as the VDF 1110 DUS from Boehringer \u2014 one of the most powerful universal lathes available on the market today.<\/p>\n

The cycle-controlled VDF 1110 DUS offers a wide range of applications, from single components and small batch production to complex custom parts.
